I called today to get a ticket to Japan and asked if she could find something cheaper than she quoted and was told "to be honest we don't make a dime off of plane tickets, if it was a package that we would make money off of I would research it but we don't". That is not customer service and a prime example of why I'm moving to Japan.
The travel agent literally did nothing, she didn't look for affordable prices and the only time she touched her computer was when i asked to check a prices. Horrific customer service.
