If I could give zero stars, I would. We had two missed appointments by our fence estimate guy (I believe his name was Kevin). The first day was on the day of our closing- we waited over an hour while trying to call him, the office- nobody knew or cared where he was. He rescheduled for "sometime" the next day, never called or showed. He ended up calling the following week to reschedule and finally made it to our appointment. He was a very nice guy, quick and thorough in his measurements. He told us he would send us the quote within 2 days. After waiting a week, I called the office, who didn't know why the quote wasn't sent and I had no recourse other than for them to say they'd "Let Kevin know we were waiting." I called again after two weeks- still nothing. Still no idea from the office why Kevin hadn't gotten back to us. Over three weeks later, I finally received the email with a waaaaay out of the ballpark estimate from Kevin, apologizing for the delay. No explanation, just like the missed appointments. The quote was over 3x as much as all of the other quotes we received, and it was just as well, because I would never hire this company to actually do work. They are unreliable, unreachable and unfortunately, the office didn't seem to care that the guy who was doing their estimates didn't show for multiple appointments, or following up with quotes. Really disappointing experience, and it was a waste of our time.
Well I manage a storage facility and have used this company several times. Since all of there manager changes it has gone down hill. I have talked to the estimator and he said that it would be fixed soon and that was on August 5th. Here it is almost October and nothing, I have called several times. One time I got an answer "I thought we fixed that already". So I am switching companies to Albemarle Fence. I have spent in the past 5 years over 20k with seegars fence and you think they would want to keep good customers but with this sales and management team they have now they wont have many customers for long. Very sad because they used to be the best and now they are the worst.
