Now I don't know what others experiences are. I have been in a few SS offices but non as nice as this. The security guard and I had a wonderful chat. I seemed to be the second person there on a Tuesday at about 10 . Didn't wait more than 15 minutes. I was 45 minutes early. Ms. Barbara called me back. A wonderful, polite, helpful woman. Get this I enjoyed my visit. I work with the public some times the person before you irked your last nerve and it might show in the poor next person. I understand some people hate the word sorry can't help you.
I don't particularly appreciate being treated glacially while I am trying to fix mistakes that aren't even my own, that's all.
Name on SSN was spelt wrong. Called in to kindly ask for some information about replacing it. Agent was impolite - helpful, but quite rude - remained unresponsive at one point throughout the call until I finally wished her a nice day, to which she briskly responded and then hung up.
