When I, a small latin female, with my five year old, black, and latin nephew, first walked in the older lady at the desk was on the phone, asked what I needed, looked on the computer to see, while still on the phone, asked to confirm what it was I requested for the rental, as I answered she finally got off the phone. She then asked again. During the whole processes from there on all I received was attitude. I asked simple questions as to help with the car dolly, the information about the rental insurance, and what was the cost recovery fee for, which she said was a fee Budget has from the county, doesn't sound right to me so still not sure. She printed out the paperwork and I read all of it and noticed it said I was the only authorized driver I said but my sister is going to help drive, she said she's going to need to have a license (rudely). Then proceeded to blame me for not saying so and for her having to reprint it. I then had to do a 150 deposit for the change on the agreement. She had other white customers come in who she was really nice to I wish I had the same customer service... She said it was because I was asking so many questions that it seemed as though I was thinking she was trying to take me for a ride. When we went out to look at the truck and dolly. She did a quick look and marked three items off and called it good I added about four more. I ended up on the road side because of the bent/cracked car dolly which she didn't bother to check, it was one I added. They took over four hours to get help to us not including a replacement all in Chicago at 1am on July 4th. The worst part was her giving my little nephew attitude she scolded him for lifting up a small grate outside and attitude for him going to the restroom a second time but this time not asking her but me, since she had left us outside looking iover the equipment by ourselves. Her name was Debbie but if you mention me, she will most definitely give attitude and a false name. She said she was the owner but that is hard to believe. She did this when my sister called and tried to politely ask for her full name and store number. She said she wouldn't give a "rats patutty" about what we thought or the fact we were going to write a review. I wish I had this taped.
