My daughter recently had an appointment with the Nurse Pracititioner. I believe her name is Lacey, but I'm not certain. She was a dream! She was so personable and friendly, and she made us feel very welcome and comfortable. I will be requesting her from now on.
Short and sweet..this practice is decent if you can get one of the awesome doctors or NP. The front office is another story. They are very rude except like one or two I think her name was Stephanie and the other was Melissa or maybe nikki. Either way they asked me to hold a sign with my type of insurance in the waiting room which is a very very CLEAR violation of HIPPA. When I told the girl that not only I was not going to do this and the insurance was wrong she got an attitude with me. I recently got a call about my daughters 8yr and the girl told me we didn't come in for her 7yr which we did it just so happened it was a sick appointment also. I think its very sad to see what has happened to Coastal they have been spot on and now its like it got too big too fast :(
We love Dr. Coleman, and have taken our three youngest to her for about five years now. She is open-minded and willing to discuss options. The staff has never once been rude to any of us, and are always very pleasant. The reception areas are clean and look nice.
So disappointed with coastal today. I came in the office and scheduled an appt for my daughter. I was given an appt date and time for today. I showed up with for her appointment after taking off work and taking her out of school to be told my appt was for another day. I pulled out my appt card that was handed to me the day I scheduled and it said 3/17. I hope the manager addresses this with her staff. Very disappointed!
I’ve been taking my son here since birth (about a year and a half). I’ve yet to speak to a single person at the front desk or who answers the phone who isn’t rude, snotty, or acts like you’re bothering her the second you walk in the door or they answer the phone. The doctors are great. The nurses I’ve met are nice. Even the lady in accounting who I talked to when there was a problem with my billing was nice and helpful. But those front desk girls. No one should have to suffer through the way they treat their clients, no matter how great the doctors are. Time to find a new pediatrician.
